How to Use

か~か is used to present two (or more) choices, meaning “whether … or …”.

🔹 When to use か~か


  • To show a choice between options
  • When you don’t know which one is correct or will happen
  • Often used in questions or indirect questions

🔹 Simple Examples


コーヒーかお茶か、どちらがいいですか。
Which do you want, coffee or tea?

行くか行かないか、まだ分かりません。
I don’t know whether I will go or not.

バスか電車かで行きます。
I’ll go by bus or train.

日本に住むかどうか、考えています。
I’m thinking about whether to live in Japan or not.
